If you are not pleased with your purchase from us, you are entitled to our 30-day, money-back guarantee, subject to a couple of limitations. First, you must have purchased directly from us* either through our online store or our internal sales team. Additionally:

Software Purchases. You need to send us a letter of destruction to attest that you've completely removed the software.

Scanner Purchases. All scanner returns require a return authorization. Once authorized, we'll refund the original purchase price if the scanner hasn't been opened. If the scanner has been opened, we'll deduct a 20% restocking fee. Return shipping is your responsibility. See below for return shipping instructions.

Paid Services. Paid services such as consulting and training are NOT REFUNDABLE once we've begun rendering the services.

*Other vendors are not bound by this return policy and might not choose to offer a satisfaction guarantee. Each vendor sets their own terms for purchases and refunds. How Do I Request a Refund for Software?

To request a refund for a software purchase made directly from us:

  1. Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase
  2. Permanently erase all copies of the software
  3. Fill out and submit a letter of destruction
  4. For the FileCenter Portal, include a statement that we are authorized to delete all of the files and data that you, your users, and your guests have uploaded
  5. After we have received the letter of destruction, we will issue a refund within 30 days

How Do I Return a Scanner?

To return a scanner purchased directly from us:

  1. Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase
  2. Contact Sales to receive a return authorization; no scanner returns will be refunded without a return authorization: 801-722-7098 or
  3. Ship the scanner with all original parts, components, documentation, drivers, cables, etc. in the original packaging to the address below
  4. We will inspect the returned item to determine if it has been opened
  5. Opened scanners will be assessed a 20% restocking fee
  6. The cost of return shipping is your responsibility
  7. After we have received and inspected the scanner, we will issue a refund within 30 days

Chargebacks

Instead of issuing a chargeback, please contact us to address any billing issues. We're reasonable people. Requesting a chargeback or opening a PayPal dispute for a valid charge from us is fraud, and is never an appropriate or legal means of obtaining a refund.
